Before Your First Appointment
Once your GP referral is received, you'll get a link to book in, along with an intake form and access to your food and symptom diary. Please complete your intake form at least 2 days before your appointment. This means our time together is spent on your care, not repeating your history.
A Structured Path, Not a Single Appointment
Here’s what to expect step by step.
Your Initial Consultation
30 minutes
We'll start by reviewing your history and symptoms in detail, making sure any red flag symptoms have been properly assessed and ruled out with your GP before we proceed. From there, we'll go through your goals and explain IBS and the Low FODMAP approach clearly. Together, we'll agree on the right pathway for you specifically, this isn't one-size-fits-all. Everything covered is emailed to you afterwards, along with your first resources.
Ongoing Review Consultations
20 minutes
Spaced 3–5 weeks apart, these sessions track your progress, guide you through food challenges (reintroducing foods step by step to find your personal triggers), and adjust your plan as you go. You'll always know what to focus on before your next appointment.
Final Review Consultation
20 minutes
We finalise your personalised long-term plan, the foods you tolerate, the ones to watch, and how to manage day-to-day life with IBS confidently going forward. A summary is sent to your GP, and to you.
Annual Review (every 12 months)
30 minutes
FODMAP tolerance can shift over time, and clinical guidance evolves. A yearly check-in (with a fresh GP referral) keeps your management current.
Throughout the program, you'll receive:
Personalised resources after every session
Access to a food and symptom diary you and I can both see
Reminder texts/emails ahead of every appointment
Education between appointments, including practical tips including FODMAP stacking, reading food labels, recipes, gut-brain interaction and IBS, the IBS supplements toolkit (probiotics, peppermint oil, fibre and more), and how to eat a full variety of foods across all 5 food groups while on the diet
